Join us for Day 1 of our Queen Mary 2 Winter Crossing as we make our way through New York, return our rental car, arrive at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, and board Cunard’s legendary Queen Mary 2 for an 8-day North Atlantic crossing from New York to Southampton, England. This video is more of a raw travel diary than a polished ship tour — and that’s exactly what we wanted this series to be. We’re capturing what it really felt like to board QM2 in January, from the cold wind at the terminal to check-in, the boarding area, our first steps onboard, and a chilly walk around Deck 7. Once onboard, we head outside to take in the New York skyline, spot the Statue of Liberty, check out the decks, and get ready for sail away… although the winter weather definitely changed the usual sail-away party vibe!
