YouTube Video Descriptionโ
Tuesday 28th August 2012 saw two of the three Cunard Queens docked in Southampton along with the regular Fred Olsen Cruise Line ship "Balmoral". "Balmoral" was moored at the 'City' Cruise Terminal whilst "Queen Victoria" was at the 'Ocean' Cruise Terminal and her sister "Queen Elizabeth" was at the 'Mayflower' Terminal. "Balmoral" was the first to depart from her berth at around 16:20 and headed up past "Queen Elizabeth" to the Upper Turning Circle. Whilst she was doing this, "Queen Victoria" slipped her moorings around 16:30 and departed from the 'Ocean' Terminal. By the time "Queen Victoria" was out of sight behind the 'QEII' Terminal, "Balmoral" had completed turning and sailed back down past "Queen Elizabeth". "Queen Elizabeth" then slipped her moorings and departed as soon as "Balmoral" had passed her. By the time "Balmoral" was out of sight, "Queen Elizabeth" had turned around also and sailed back down past the Town Quay heading her a series of Fly holidays based out in the Mediterranean. She will return to Southampton in December.
