Queen Victoria departs for Hamburg & Queen Mary 2 departs for New York 28/04/19

The Cunard Cruise Ship 'Queen Victoria' & the Cunard Ocean Liner 'Queen Mary 2' both sailed from Southampton in the afternoon of the 28th April 2019. First to depart was the 'Queen Victoria' from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at just after 16:30pm for a 14 Night Baltic Cruise, her first port call on her itinerary is to Hamburg in Germany. Next the 'Queen Mary 2' departed from the Ocean Cruise Terminal at just before 18:00pm for a 14 Night Transatlantic voyage across to New York and back, she had to be helped with the aid of a tug the Svitzer Bargate away from the Terminal due to some high gusts of wind we were having here in Southampton. The departures of the Cunard Ships was filmed from Town Quay in Southampton.
