That's because since the pandemic, no large cruise ship has been allowed to dock directly in Venice... so they dock in Ravenna. And Venice is THREE HOURS away from Ravenna! Most cruise lines offer a pricey 'excursion' transfer to Venice at the end of your voyage, but we did it ourselves, on a budget... and we can't wait to take you with us! We take a coach, a bus, and even a CAR FERRY to get to our final destination... Venice Lido. We also show you around our hotel (Villa Mabapa) and Venice Lido itself. Did you know that, while it still has canals and beautiful architecture like Venice proper, Venice Lido also as AMAZING BEACHES?! Yep, we'll show you those as well.
