Regent Seven Seas Explorer is a deluxe 750-passenger Regent Seven Seas Cruises ship known as the the most luxury all-inclusive ship in the world! That's quite a promise and this video is my experience of the ship as it sails on a voyage from Sydney, Australia to Auckland in New Zealand. At times this voyage feels like an expedition as it follows in the footsteps of some of the world's greatest explorers like Captain Cook! Mine's a Christmas and New Year sailing so the ship is extra beautifully festive with tinsel decorations, gingerbread houses and even Father Christmas. This video offers a snapshot of the whole ship, from its pools to its facilities (tennis court/shuffleboard/mini golf/driving range and spa etc) to its decor - think massive crystal chandeliers, designer Versace plates and artwork by Picasso and Chagall on its walls! I also take a look at the exceptional cuisine on board as well as drinks/cocktails and exactly what is included in the fare, which is practically everything, including free LAUNDRY - for me this is the best perk!! The video also gives a sense of the ambience on board (this is a lively bunch who likes to party!) as well as the phenomenal antipodean destinations on the itinerary. What can you get to see? Kangaroos, blue penguins, seals with their newborn pups, Tasmanian devils, geysers, boiling mud, rare parrots, volcanos, waterfalls, the New Zealand fjords, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House and Maori culture including a performance of the infamous Maori Haka. This is an incredibly varied, exciting cruise and I thoroughly recommend both it and the ship!
