This is Day 1 in Rome however, it's day 24 of our 322 day land & sea journey around the world. We started our time in Rome by ship, train and then on foot. We dropped our bags at the hotel and off we went to explore. Some of the site we visited were the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the church of Sant'Agnese in Agone, the Quirinal Palace, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna, Largo di Torre Argentina and the Victor Emmanuel II National Monument also known as the Vittoriano or Altar of the Fatherland.
