Royal Princess Cruise Vlog Puerto Vallarta - Las Caletas

Hey Cruisers, Today we are in Puerto Vallarta as we continue the adventures of our Royal Princess Mexican Riviera cruise. We cruise into Puerto Vallarta just in time to catch an unbelievably beautiful sunrise. From that lovely start to the day we disembark and quickly find or guide and the line for our Vallarta Adventures excursion to Las Caletas. It's a short walk to the boat that will take us to the adventure park. Our guide is super friendly, and let's us know what's in store for us. The Las Caletas beach hideaway is a popular excursion (you can only book this through your ship's shore excursion website or office), and it shows when we find the boat is standing room only. Ultimately we found a terrific spot to stand with great views of the ocean, and entertainment. Once we arrive at Las Caletas we are greeting warmly, and treated to a satisfying "welcome taco". We didn't have much of a plan, so we spent a few minutes getting organized, securing a locker, and picking our first activity. Jr. really wanted to do the "Step-Up", so that's where our Las Caletas adventure activity begins. Mr. CTTV took a crack at the challenge as well. Watch the video to find out if they were actually able to conquer the ominous Step-up activity. After that it was non-stop fun with the zip line, twisty water slide, dunk tank, and even a quick visit to a waterfall. There is so much to do at Las Caletas. We definitely recommend planning ahead, and choosing how and where you spend your time at this beach getaway. We'll give you a pretty good review of Las Caletas in this video. One thing that was a pleasant surprise for us was the way that they managed the buffet. We didn't stand in a line at all, and we ended up with a lovely table to ourselves with a beautiful view. We'll give you a good look of it in the video. After returning to the ship, we had just enough time to get cleaned up and ready for our Ultimate Balcony dinner.
