Date Filmed: August 5, 2021 Carnival Mardi Gras Day 6 Hello Happy Travelers! Let’s Party On The Mardi! Welcome to Carnival’s newest ship, Mardi Gras! Mardi Gras’ first sailing was from Port Canaveral on July 31st, 2021 and we were on this sailing to bring you all the new content! Mardi Gras is the first of it's kind, bringing new innovation to both Carnival Cruise Line and the Cruise Industry as a whole! Mardi Gras is Carnival's first mega ship and now the largest in their fleet! It features six uniquely themed zones that will house an array of new restaurants, entertainment, lounges, and activities! Mardi Gras also is honored with the title of the first LNG ship in North America! We are on the first cruise ship (standard revenue sailing) to depart from Port Canaveral since the closure! Today is day six, a day at sea! Today was an action-packed and delicious day! We tried out the Ropes Course onboard and whew! It was a work out, but it was so much fun! If you're looking for your adrenaline to be raised and seeking beautiful views, this is definitely for you! After this we definitely needed to cool down, so we hit the waterslides at WaterWorks! We had some scrumptious food today including a fun brunch at the Palm restaurant and snacks at Big Chicken! But no culinary experience onboard compares to our dinner at Rudy's SeaGrille! This restaurant is hosted by celebrity chef Rudy Sodamin and the food was perfect! We also had a blast at the Broadway Rocks Theatre show and checking out the Havana pool area!
