"Saga Sapphire" & The Three 'Queens' departing from Southampton - 10/01/2016. January 10th is the annual departure day for CUNARD's "Queen Mary 2" to begin her World Cruise from Southampton. It has also been a regular departure date for one of the other two CUNARD vessels - "Queen Victoria" (last departed on this date in 2013) and "Queen Elizabeth" (2014 & 2015). This year however, it was the first time that all three ships had departed on their World Cruises together. They will also return to Southampton together in May. In addition to the three 'Queens', the past two years on this date have also seen Saga Holidays' "Saga Sapphire" in port as well. Unlike them however she doesn't do World Voyages and so departed a couple of hours beforehand. This video shows the following departures from Southampton. - RFA supply ship "Anvil Point" from Marchwood on a short trip down to Alpha Anchorage. - "Saga Sapphire" from Berth 102 at 16:06 on a 15-night cruise to the Canary Islands. - "Queen Elizabeth" from Berth 106/The 'Mayflower' Terminal at 17:33 on her 120-night World Cruise returning to Southampton on May 10th. - "Queen Victoria" from Berth 101/The 'City' Terminal at 18:25 on her 120-night World Cruise returning to Southampton on May 10th. - "Queen Mary 2" from Berth 46/The 'Ocean' Terminal at 18:54 on her 120-night World Cruise returning to Southampton on May 10th.
