Scarlet Lady: Bimini, Bahamas Arrival & Departure on October 14th, 2021

On October 10th Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Lady set sail on a 5 night Mayan Sol Voyage from Miami Florida. On the last day of the voyage before returning home she made a stop at Bimini in the Bahamas. This new destination was developed as a partnership between Resorts World and Virgin Voyages giving the line's ships priority access to the pier and private Beach Club. She made her way to the pier in the early morning taking her time to maneuver into the right position before docking by 8:00 AM to give the crew time to go ashore and prepare The Beach Club before the sailors were allows off. Just after arriving a series of severe storms rolled through with heavy rains and high winds making the entire island and horizon disappear from view. As they passed through and cleared though they brought the sight of a rainbow and a beautiful sea turtle swimming along side the pier. Just as the all aboard time arrived Scarlet Lady prepared to set sail at 9:30 PM. She carefully maneuver to the side away from the pier before setting sail out to sea. Just after clearing the pier the pilot boat pulled up along side to pick up the pilot before allowing Scarlet Lady to set sail for Miami. While sailing over night she passed the Celebrity Constellation who without any passengers was spending her time adrift at sea as well as the Allure of the Seas.
