Seattle, WA: Saturday May 25th Cruise Ship Departures (Ruby Princess, ms Eurodam, & Norwegian Joy)
YouTube Video Descriptionโ
The Alaskan market has become bigger than ever with some of the largest ships in the industry making their way to the region. With so much demand the just three ports have to handle the turn arounds with Seattle handling the majority of the round trip sailings. On Saturday May 25th the port was filled with 3 ships. The Carnival owned Ruby Princess and ms Eurodam at the Smith Cove Terminal on Pier 91 while the Norwegian Joy was docked at the Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal at Pier 66. I visited the Seattle Waterfront area at Pier 57 and while the weather wasn't the best with a continuous downpour I made my way to the end of the pier to watch the three ships depart. After a bit of a delay, that has become sadly common in the industry, one by one each ship made it's way out and started the journey to Alaska.
