We took this cruise in May, 2023 on Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas out of Tampa, FL. This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise, and Serenade of the Seas is very similar in size and age to one of the more recent Carnival ships we sailed on the Carnival Spirit. We wanted to compare the two biggest cruise lines in the business, and this was a ship we thought would compare closely, and an itinerary that got us back to places we love, and to new places we’ve been trying to get to.
