Disney Cruise Line is a family friendly cruise line owned by The Walt Disney Company, which has been in operation since 1995. Disney cruises are perfect for those who love the companies parks but want to add a new experience to their next holiday. The lines history started out as a partnership with Premier Cruise Line, when their ships were nicknamed ‘The Big Red Boat. Nowadays, the lines ships take their inspiration from the iconic Cunard brand. In 1993, Premier ended their partnership with Disney to team up with Warner Brothers. That left Disney to try and find a new partner and after talks broke down with the likes of Carnival and Royal Caribbean, the ‘House of Mouse’ went it alone and in 1995, created what is now known as the Disney Cruise Line.
