YouTube Video Descriptionโ†“

P&O Cruises is a British facing cruise line owned by the Carnival Corporation and operated by Carnival UK, a setup that has been in place since 2003. The lines history is much longer than that however and can trace its establishment back to the 1830's when a trio of sailors and businessmen based in England and Ireland got together to for the Peninsular Steam Navigation Company. In 1940, they merged with the Transatlantic Steam Ship Company and expanded to the far east, before changing their name to the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company, or P&O for short.
