Whether you're stopping over for a few days or planning a dedicated weekend getaway, this video covers the iconic sights, the vibrant culture and a few brilliant hidden gems. We kicked off our Singapore city break in the historic Civic District and made our way down to Merlion Park to see the city's most famous symbol looking out over the water. No holiday to Singapore is complete without a stop at the legendary Raffles Hotel so we popped in to see exactly where the world-famous Singapore Sling was invented. The colonial architecture there is absolutely stunning! Next we spent time exploring the vibrant cultural neighbourhoods of Little India and Chinatown. The contrast between the colourful streets, incredible food and towering modern skyscrapers is exactly what makes a Singapore city break so special. A massive highlight was our visit to the stunning Buddha Tooth Relic Temple which is an absolute must-see for anyone interested in the local history and architecture. For the absolute best views of the skyline, we went up to the top of Mount Faber Park. From the peak, we caught the Singapore Cable Car right across the water to Sentosa Island. If you want a totally unique perspective of the harbour and the massive ships passing below, you definitely have to add this to your itinerary! It's the ultimate way to travel around Singapore! Later on we managed to walk a lap of the Marina Bay Street Circuit. If you're a Formula 1 fan, getting to walk the actual Singapore Grand Prix track right in the heart of the city is a completely surreal experience. Finally, we couldn't fly home without visiting the incredible Jewel Changi Airport. Seeing the world-famous Rain Vortex waterfall in person is the perfect way to finish off a short holiday. We genuinely loved our time exploring here. It's easily one of the most futuristic and exciting destinations in Asia!
