Have you ever wanted to plug a device (Smart Phone / Tablet / Computer / Streaming Device) into a TV on a Royal Caribbean ship, but were not able to switch the input to the HDMI port because the TV controls were locked down? If so - this video is for you. We found a hack when sailing on Oasis of the Seas - and it should work on other ships that use a similar operating system on the TVs. NOTE: This hack does NOT require you bring a Samsung or universal remote with you. It is done with the TV and the remote on the ship. This worked for us - hopefully it works for you! Please Note: This video was filmed before the introduction of StarLink on Oasis of the Seas - therefore the actual streaming quality may not be what you see today on most Royal ships. This has no impact on the connection of your device to the Royal TV.
