It is a small gold rush town that has a few restaurants, a hotel, antique stores and a well preserved California Gold Rush Town full of history and some of the original buildings still stand. One of the draws to Sutter Creek California is Daffodil Hill, which attracts many visitors when the daffodils are in bloom. Is it worth the drive? It's a matter of opinion, but we suggest you visit early Saturday so you can leisurely visit and have lunch.
