Following its duty on the 'Swanage Belle' on Saturday 15th October 2011, BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70013 "Oliver Cromwell's" next booked excursion was from Bristol down into Devon with GWR 6000-class 'King' 4-6-0 No.6024 "King Edward I" on Saturday 22nd. The 'Brit' had been stabled at Swanage up until Friday 21st when it departed with its Support Coach for Bristol Barton Hill Depot. There was no direct route from start and finish point, so "Cromwell" had to travel tender-first with its coach from Swanage to Southampton Central. Then it spent around an hour in the goods loop there whilst it ran around its coach and allowed other services to pass. Then it proceeded to run chimney-first onto Bristol via Romsey and Salisbury. "Cromwell" and its Support Coach are seen passing tender-first through Totton with the first leg to Southampton before passing chimney-first through Redbridge on its final leg towards Bristol.
