The Celebrity Apex has entered the majestic Norwegian Fjords, and we've arrived at the quaint, stunning, and historic village of Flam. Just taking in the beauty from the cruise ship as it passed through the fjords is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Once we arrive at the cruise pier, we rush to pick up our eMobility electric car (or twizy). After a short tutorial, we were off to traverse mountains, across rivers, past historic churches and villages, and past immense waterfalls. This truly is the most affordable and convenient way to see all of Flam, and the surrounding areas. We'll take you to a 16th Century wooden church nestled in a valley, through a massive tunnel through a mountain, and up a steep mountain road to the awesome Stegastein Viewpoint, 30 meters out over a fjord. When we return to the port, we have a hearty lunch at Bakkastova Cafe, the hike 1,500 up a mountainside to the majestic Brekkefossen Waterfall. Back onboard Apex, we dine at the exclusive restaurant, Blu, the take in the high-energy musical show, Caravan at The Club before calling it a night.
