The fifth of the 'Railway Touring Company's 2011 'Dorset Coast Express' excursions on Tuesday 2nd August. This excursion was back to two locomotives again. SR unrebuilt 'Battle of Britain'-class 4-6-2 No.34067 "Tangmere" had finished its duties up north and was back to head the return working from Weymouth back to London. BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70000 "Britannia" was booked to work another excursion the following day from Poole to Bristol so was unavailable for this train. Instead, LNER A4-class 4-6-2 No.60019 "Bittern" (running as No.4492 "Dominion of New Zealand") was rostered for the outward run. Both legs are seen passing through Totton Station.
