About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Descriptionโ†“

Cruise ship fanatics got some great news this week from American Cruise Lines when they revealed "Project Blue"... the plans for the next generation of cruise ships in their fleet, which will be officially known as the Eagle-class of ships. Using artist's renderings and computer-generated animations supplied by ACL, I'm able to help you visualize what's going to be so special about these new ships. These new ships are specifically designed to cruise in the shallow coastal waterways and rivers of the United States. They feature a hybrid catamaran hull design for smooth sailing and a narrow draft that will allow these ships to operate in places that conventional cruise ships could never access. There's also a new interior design with contemporary styling and a warm, comfortable color palette. The first two of these twelve new nearly-identical sister ships will start cruising in 2023. That will be American Eagle and American Glory. They will be doing coastal cruises along the eastern seaboard of the United States... exploring places like the coast of Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, The Carolinas, and Georgia. Once all 12 new ships are built it will more than double the nation's capacity for domestic coastal cruises. Eventually you'll see these new ships in lots more waterways than just the eastern seaboard, too. American Cruise Lines is a company specializing in all-inclusive small-ship cruising to unique destinations within the USA... on American-made ships, with American crew members. Demand for these cruises within the USA, which do not even require a passport, has been soaring... causing American Cruise Lines to embark on a major expansion of their fleet in order to meet the demand. They are currently introducing a new ship to the fleet every four months, and plan to continue doing so for the next several years at least.
