The Ocean Was Like GLASS — Carnival Spirit Day 8
YouTube Video Description↓
Day 8 of our 16‑day Panama Canal cruise was one of those perfectly slow, peaceful sea days that make cruising feel like a true escape. With glass‑calm water, warm sunshine, wandering the ship, wildlife sightings, and an 80s show to end the night, this day was all about relaxing and enjoying the ride. We start the morning early as Adam explores the quiet lower decks while most of the ship is still asleep. The ocean is unbelievably smooth — like sailing on a sheet of glass — and the weather is warm and calm. After breakfast, we stroll the decks, watch birds diving for fish, and even spot a starfish in the water below. The afternoon is all about soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the breeze, and taking in the peaceful sea‑day atmosphere. We grab tacos and snacks, listen to live music (including a fun performance of “Proud Mary”), and wander through different lounges and outdoor spaces as the ship glides south. As evening rolls in, we head to the theater for 80s Pop to the Max, packed with high‑energy hits and nostalgia. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a simple, easy, feel‑good day at sea. Thanks for spending another day with us aboard the Carnival Spirit! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe so you don’t miss Day 9 and the rest of our Panama Canal adventure. 🚢✨
