In episode 4 of our Royal Clipper review, we arrive in the beautiful town of Amalfi and go exploring this famous town and admire the stunning coastline. Back on the ship, Paul helps put the sails up on this full rigged ship, finds his way to the Bowsprit for some dolphins watching, and we witness a magical light show. Life on Royal Clipper is very different from cruising on a regular cruise ship, and we are absolutely loving our time on board. Watch our full vlog series as we spend a week on the largest Full Rigged Sailing Ship in the wold Royal Clipper. It was a week we will never forget! We sailed around the Amalfi coast and Sicily from Civitavecchia near Rome, to the Pontine Islands, Ponza and Palmorola, Sorrento, Amalfi, Naxos (for Taormina), Lipari, and Gaeta before heading back to Civitavecchia. We sailed on Royal Clipper in July 2024. We paid £2350 each for 7 nights in a Category 6 cabin which also icluded flights from Heathrow to Rome.
