If you've sailed on some of Carnival Cruise Line's newer ships, you may have passed by the Bonzai Sushi dining option while on board. We decided to try this restaurant on the Carnival Horizon during our sailing in October 2022. We were blown away by the experience: the staff were all super friendly, the food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic! Watch our video and join in on the experience of us ordering the Sushi boat. It is very reasonably priced, at $24 to feed both of us, and there was plenty of food to enjoy. The drinks that were offered in this restaurant were unique from any other venue on the ship, making for a delicious treat! We were able to request certain adjustments to our boat due to allergies, and the wait staff were very flexible to our needs. Unique to the Carnival Vista-class and Carnival Excel-class of ships, there is al fresco dining available when you choose Bonsai Sushi! Bonsai Sushi is available on (as of January 2023): Carnival Breeze, Carnival Celebration, Carnival Dream, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Legend, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Pride, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Sunshine, Carnival Vista, Mardi Gras We don't usually spend extra money to dine on a cruise ship, but we are very glad that we made the decision to eat at this up-charge venue.
