This video highlights the Weeki Wachee State Park located about an hour drive from The Villages. This historical attraction features the world-famous mermaids who perform daily shows in the first magnitude natural spring. Included in the price of admission is the mermaid show, a wilderness boat cruise on the river, a ranger show explaining the local animals and swimming/slides at Buccaneer Bay water park. Charlie and Jennifer Pryde have lived in The Villages for two years and in Central Florida for fifteen years. Our main activities in The Villages are biking, fitness parks, pickle ball, platform tennis, golf and swimming. We love to travel throughout Florida, the United States and internationally.
