Creator's Key Takeaways
the dining is only showing one day instead of the full week and even on the screens around the ship you'll only see that one day of some reason
the solarium adults as a whole has been closed each night of the sailing which means in the morning whenever I've got enough dose yesterday and today the solarium has been closed down
the neat thing about this port it is again not near the downtown area but they did offer complimentary buses to everybody
the menu tonight actually looked very good so I did head to the main dining room for 5:15 dinner it was a casual night once again

This is the 5th episode of theCruiseView's sailing onboard the Ovation of the Seas. Unlike my other videos that feature the ship and let you enjoy the experience of being at sea without interruption, theCruiseView is a guided tour of the daily happenings during the cruise. This sailing features a return to the class that started it all with another Quantum Class ship and another inaugural, with her 11 night sailing to the Alaska. Over the course of these 11 episodes you will get to see in detail every cruise compass, every main dining room menu, and all the happenings onboard during this lengthy voyage. This series will take you into the day to day experience of being onboard the Ovation of the Seas with over 4,000 guests to experience every moment of life at sea and every festivity along the way. On today's episode we're going to be taking a look at our second port of call with a stop in Sitka Alaska. Docked in an industrial area complimentary shuttles were offered to get guests to the down town area. On the way in the fog and rain prevented much of the natural beauty from showing itself, but as we set sail in the afternoon under perfect conditions we got to see not only the nature around us but the sealife as well. I took our first excursion of this sailing with a bus trip to the Sitka national historical park, Alaska raptor center, and tribal community house. The night was then topped off with a bit of comedy from Mike Pace and the Love & Marriage Game Show.
