This is the 7th episode of theCruiseView's sailing onboard the Ovation of the Seas. Unlike my other videos that feature the ship and let you enjoy the experience of being at sea without interruption, theCruiseView is a guided tour of the daily happenings during the cruise. This sailing features a return to the class that started it all with another Quantum Class ship and another inaugural, with her 11 night sailing to the Alaska. Over the course of these 11 episodes you will get to see in detail every cruise compass, every main dining room menu, and all the happenings onboard during this lengthy voyage. This series will take you into the day to day experience of being onboard the Ovation of the Seas with over 4,000 guests to experience every moment of life at sea and every festivity along the way. On today's episode the Ovation of the Seas makes it's first visit to Juneau Alaska. Arriving in the early morning hours she arrived to a busy port where four ships would spend their day. For my day in port I took an excursion up to the Mendenhall glacier by helicopter to go dog sledding. After our return the day was beautiful with warm sunny conditions for everyone to take in the evening hours that we had. A later departure after dinner meant no production shows, but the night was filled with a trip back in time to the 70's as a collection of 70's Disco Inferno events took place in Two70.
