Tour Carnival's Brand New Celebration Key (+ Tips!)

Celebration Key, Carnival's newest ✨exclusive destination✨, just had its grand opening — and we were on-hand for all the fun! Planning a visit to Celebration Key? Here are some tips to know: ☀️ While Calypso Lagoon is “adult-friendly,” there is an area that’s exclusive to adults. Most families (especially those with little ones) stayed in Starfish Lagoon while we were there. ☀️ If you’re searching for shade, head to Calypso Beach — it offers plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade. ☀️ Starfish Lagoon is the perfect place for younger visitors, and welcomes little ones in both diapers and swimmers. Forgot your diapers onboard? No worries! There are complimentary diapers available to you. ☀️ There are two Suncastle Slides: Flash Flamingo (pink) and Mach 3 Marlin (blue). While both are a blast, the consensus among riders is that the pink slide is just a bit more fun. ☀️ The island is relatively walkable, but there is a tram available that takes guests from place to place. ☀️ Every day at 1 pm and 3 pm, a Junkanoo parade takes place, with a band and dancers in brightly colored costumes who make their way through Celebration Key.
