Traveling to Port Everglades | Embarkation day Next Day | Disney Magic | Bahamian Cruise April 2025

Ahoy Cruise Nerds! Welcome back to another Vlog here on DCL Cruise Nerd. Today is Travel Day down to Fort Lauderdale, Mom and I are traveling down to Fort Lauderdale a day prior to our Cruise aboard the Disney Magic. We both agreed after what happened to missing our last cruise, we thought it would be best to travel down a day before. There were different options to travel down to Fort Lauderdale that we discussed; bright line, drive on embarkation day, Flying down either day before or same day. However, Mom and I both agreed it was best to travel the day prior. Fort Lauderdale is about 3.5 hours from Orlando via Turnpike and/or I-95. We are checking into Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port. Which I will do a tour of our room and also do a review of the Fairfield inn and Suites in a different Vlog. This hotel is about 3.5 miles from the airport and about 8 minute drive to Cruise Terminal (Port Everglades). Our Cruise is aboard the Disney Magic. Which is currently doing sailings out of Port Everglades until roughly May before going to Port Canaveral when the Disney Fantasy heads to Europe.However in the meantime, enjoy the travel down with Mom and I down to Fort Lauderdale. See ya’ll Real Soon! We are now aboard the Beautiful Disney Magic. We finally made it to our next cruise. It’s been a long journey however it’s time to kick back and relax. Today we are embarking the Disney Magic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We stayed last night in the Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port. Which this is not a hotel Disney partners with, however I will have a different vlog for our pre night stay here in Fort Lauderdale. We get onboard and head to Cabanas for lunch. After enjoying a nice lunch, We came to our SR, which I will have a tour of the SR in a different vlog dropped our carry on items and went to explore the Beautiful Disney Magic. The Ship started it all! We received our luggage which we unpacked our luggage and also went to our Assembly Station for the Muster Drill. Now it’s time to set sail and Discovered Uncharted Magic. Mom and I are going to the Sail Away Party, Saying goodbye to Florida and hello the Bahamas. Tonight We are starting in Lumiere’s Restaurant on the 08:15 dining (second Seating) However before dinner we are getting ready to head to our first broadway style show Twice Charmed in the Walt Disney Theater that will start at 6 pm.
