Two Generations of West Coast Main Line Inter-City Trains passing Northwick Park - 09/09/2022

A visit to a location I've wanted to try for a long time but never had the right opportunity to do so - the footbridge over the West Coast Main Line at Northwick Park on Friday 9th September 2022 to see the London to Manchester run of the Locomotive Services Ltd.'s Friday charter service with BR Class 87 Bo-Bo No.87002 "Royal Sovereign" at the head of the train which was very apt following the unfortunate passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II the day before. Here the Class 87 is preceded by one of its successors - an Avanti West Coast Class 380 'Pendelino' on an express from London Euston. Like - Comment - Subscribe Stay safe and have a good evening.
