Today's vlog is day 2 of our Universal Orlando Portofino Bay Resort staycation and it's also the opening day of Mardi Gras 2021! We start the day with breakfast in the room and then we head over to Universal Studios. We take the garden walk over to the park and it's beautiful. Then we head in and celebrate Mardi Gras! There were floats, performers & food booths all around the park! It was awesome! We bought the Annual Passholder food sampler lanyard and we got 15 samples for $65 plus tax. We tried food from New Orleans, Trinidad & Tobago, Italy, Canada & Germany. We had so much delicious food and the portions were pretty good too! We really like the way Universal has adapted to the current situation, the performer interactions and the way they're displaying the floats and giving out beads is great!
