Today we are visiting the largest island in Mexico, and also the most popular cruise port in the Caribbean, Cozumel Cruise Port. What has changed? What do you need to bring? Should you book an excursion? We are giving you an updated Cozumel Cruise Port Tour so you can decide what you want to do, when you visit the Cozumel Port. Your Cozumel cruise will dock at a pier so there is no need to tender and you can get to the adventures faster. It is one of the shorter docks we have seen in the Caribbean, there are rick shaw bikes if you are interested and there is no set cost they are paid by tips. The pier is big enough for two large ships and smaller boats. We saw a catamaran getting ready to leave and that looks like so much fun. The Punta Langosta Cruise port is the the most popular one in Cozumel and you are just a few blocks from the heart of San Miguel Town. In terms of the port atmosphere The Cozumel Mexico Cruise Port is really a jumping off point to your next place. At the end of the pier there are washrooms, a duty free and an excursion meet up area. This area is not that big considering there can be a couple large ships at a time, most people are off on excursions and exploring the island. There is also a large escalator that will take you over to the Punta Langosta mall which you can see from ship. The mall is right at the Cozumel cruise terminal. In the mall there is tons of shopping like diamond international, del sol, silver shops and local stores that sell woven items, sculptures and ornamental pieces. There is also a pharmacy in the mall and a few more if you walk down the street.
