I was lucky enough to hop on board Virgin Voyages brand new cruise ship Valiant Lady (sister ship to Scarlet Lady) a week ahead of its forthcoming maiden voyage from Portsmouth UK to Bruges in Belgium. I stayed for a night on this sparkly ship in balcony cabin #14086A (called a Sea Terrace cabin in Virgin lingo!) The cabin/stateroom was on the 14th deck and sleeps two people and this video offers an in-depth tour and inside look of this particular cabin. It examines all its features with an honest and critical eye, from the bed to the furniture to the wardrobe space to the bathroom to the hi-tech touches to the balcony on which there is a hammock (colored red of course!) as well as an overhang to be aware of. I did like the cabin but, for regular cruisers of more conventional liners, the decor and style of Valiant Lady is vastly different. Watch on to see why. Will you like it? Should you try it? Does it offer something new? Lots of questions to which I'm sure you'll all have your own, personal answer.
