"Ventura" & "Queen Elizabeth" depart from Southampton - 07/04/2013

Sunday 7th April 2013 saw the return of Cunard's "Queen Elizabeth" completing her World Cruise which began on Sunday 6th January. Docked at the 'Mayflower' Terminal, she was joined by P&O Cruises' "Ventura" who had returned from her refit in Hamburg the day before. She was docked at the 'Ocean' Terminal. Both ships were due to depart at 16:30 but both left roughly around 15 mins late. "Ventura" was the first to leave the docks at 16:42 heading for Vigo whilst "Queen Elizabeth" moved off at 16:45 swung around in the Upper Turning Circle. She then followed "Ventura" down the River Test on her way to Funchal, Madeira. Viewed from the Town Quay.
