(Tendering to shore is when a cruise ship cannot dock directly next to the land so it remains out in the ocean and you transfer to smaller boats (tenders) to go ashore.) This is what our smooth tendering looked like when we were in Piran, Slovenia for the day during our Viking Saturn cruise. It was one of the most pleasant tendering experiences we’ve had!
