Virgin Voyages - The Beach Club at BIMINI, The Groupie and The Manor

It is day five of our Virgin Voyages Dominican Daze cruise. Rosie and Karl have a lazy balcony breakfast with a view of the island of Bimini, courtesy of a little too much room service (ShipEats). We ate; - French toast with banana, berries, bacon and maple syrup. - Scrambled eggs with chives, yukon gold potato, roasted tomatoes and smoked salmon. - Smoked cheddar jalapeño croissants. - Fresh Fruit & Berries: Chef’s selection with house-made date & almond protein bar. After a morning of exploring the Scarlet Lady a little more they don their swimwear and head to Virgin Voyages The Beach Club at Bimini. This privately owned beach club has two pools, two lunch spots and lots and lots of sunloungers. Rosie and Karl grab lunch (....how are they still hungry?!) at Beach Eats South. Do we still dream of that rum cake? You know it! We ate; - Lechón asado, mojo marinade, watermelon radish - Banana leaf steamed red snapper, veracruz sauce - Caribbean chicken & coconut curry, ginger and cilantro - West Indian pumpkin curry and plantain chips - Grilled corn on the Cob, jerk mayo and toasted coconut - Rice and black beans, sofrito and bell peppers - Watermelon an jicama salad, cucumber, mint and calypso vinaigrette - Rum cake, guava sauce - Tropical fruit bowl, pineapple, passion fruit, ginger and cardamon After waiting the sensible 30 minutes following eating, they go for a float in the gloriously blue Bahamian water.
