If you don't want to pay for the shuttle bus to Hamburg from the Cruise Terminal, you can walk it in about 40 minutes. It's a walk that ends in a must see attraction anyway - the Elbe Tunnel. Hamburg is the most difficult stop on the North European Cruise that so many cruise lines do as it's not well signposted for pedestrians.
