Going in a bit skeptical because of distance to the parks, transportation and having a "standard" view, our expectations were low, but boy, oh, boy did AKL impress us. We start with a tour of our Standard View King Room which ended up being partial savanna view to our delight. We explore the lobby and animal viewing areas of the resort and enjoy food and drink from Victoria Falls Lounge, Boma (breakfast) and The Mara (both breakfast and dinner).
