We were sailing to the Caribbean and the day wear was casual, but what you wear during the day will depend on what climate you are in. If you are going to the Caribbean or a warmer climate you will want your swimsuits, cover ups, and sandals to hang out by the pool. If you are heading indoors to the dining room for lunch or to participate in one of their activities, having some casual clothes like shorts and a tshirt or a sundress works great. If traveling to Alaska during the day you will want layers to stay warm and be ready for the rain. The same casual clothes are worn inside when exploring the ship.
