YouTube Video Descriptionโ†“

Hey Sailors, Working on a cruise ship is all fun and games until there is a tender port. A tender port is when the cruise ship is unable to dock so, the ship will drop anchor a short distance away from the shore and passengers and crew will be shuttled back and forth using water taxis, otherwise known as tenders. I have never enjoyed tender ports as a crew member but I always used to put up with them and get off the ship to explore, if I could. However in recent years, I have become more impatient with them and as a consequence, almost never get off if I have to use a tender. In this video, I explain the reasoning behind this decision. This video will be a great watch if you are thinking about working on cruise ships because, most likely you will have a tender port so you might want to know a bit more about what they entail for crew members.
