This was the most incredible excursion we have ever been on in all of our years of cruising!! We were on a fishing boat with 6 guests, 1 guide and 2 dogs. Our guide guaranteed that we would catch fish and boy did we!!! He knew exactly where to go, how deep to drop our lines and knew every fish that we pulled out of the water. We caught several species of rock fish that we kept as well as king salmon, cod, etc that we did not. We caught 35-40 fish between the six of us and we only kept what we needed for cooking. Speaking of cooking… the next stop was a camp on shore where our guide cleaned and filleted the fish and a chef prepared and incredible meal! The foot and the atmosphere made for a perfect day. This excursion was the Alaskan Fishing & Savor Your Catch and was booked with Holland America.
