Our journey begins with a quick and smooth flight with Vueling from London Gatwick to Barcelona El Prat, followed by a Free Now by Lyft taxi transfer to our hotel in the heart of the city. I’ll give you a full tour and honest review of La Pau Boutique Hotel, our base for this short city break. We’ll visit the magical El Bosc de Les Fades, enjoy tapas overlooking the marina at Maremagnum, and take a relaxing sunset cruise along Barcelona’s stunning coastline. To celebrate Maffoo’s birthday, we packed plenty into our time in the city! From riding the iconic old port cable car to Miramar, relaxing on the beach, hopping aboard a water taxi, visiting the incredible Sagrada Família, strolling down Las Ramblas, and enjoying lunch at the famous La Boqueria Market, there’s plenty to see and do. We’ll also wander through the historic Gothic Quarter, enjoy dinner at Rossini’s Italian Restaurant in Plaça Reial, sip cocktails at Eurostars Hotel, and share our final thoughts on Barcelona before making our way to the cruise terminal to board Oceania Sirena.
