A Christmas Message From Jim Zim

With the end of the year and the holidays upon us, I wanted to take the time to record a special message for all of you who watch my videos on YouTube. Most important, I want to wish you a very merry Christmas... and as they say in a classic Christmas song, to bring you tidings of comfort and joy! We could all use more comfort and joy, don't you think?!?! I also give you a first look at a new model train that I bought myself for Christmas, share a few little details about our new house, and update you on some of the projects I've been working on. The new model train, which I'll do a much better job of showing off in a future video, is from Bachmann trains... the folks that make the Thomas and Friends model trains. The model is based on a real steam train that used to operate in the Lake Tahoe area. If you ever find yourself in Carson City, Nevada, you can see the fully restored steam train at the Nevada Railroad Museum. While talking about some of the interesting details of our new house, such as the motion-sensor activated lighting in the closets and the extremely fast Internet connection, I mention a house tour video that I posted in November.
