When you only have limited time to see a place, it's always good to check with people who have been there and get the scoop! We went! We saw! And we had a great time! Come along as we explore St. Giles' Cathedral, Victoria Street, The Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle! Roaming around Edinburgh in the month of August is also an exciting time to visit because of the Edinburgh Fringe. The Fringe is going on for 3 weeks in August and brings out a variety of street performers. Walking the Royal Mile is certainly interesting during this time. St. Giles' Cathedral is a must see if you are interested in old churches, Scottish history or architecture! The church is beautiful and can be seen in less than an hour. Walking the Royal Mile is an adventure any time of the year. You can find any type of souvenir to remind you of your visit in the many shops! And pubs are dotted along the way to help you keep up your strength! If you are a Harry Potter fan then you can't miss Victoria Street, the inspiration for the infamous, Diagon Alley! There is even a Harry Potter themed museum that is worth a peek. Besides all that, this street is adorable! At the top of my list for things to see in Edinburgh is Edinburgh Castle. I loved wandering around and seeing this "city" on a hill! The views are the best in the city and again, if you go in August, you can see where the Tattoo is performed on the castle esplanade. We had a wonderful day in Edinburgh! Thank you for watching, subscribing and liking our channel! You will never know how much we appreciate it! We are "Living the GOOD Life!"
