We travel by train from Venice to Trieste to prepare to meet our cruise ship, Regent Splendor, for our Mediterranean Cruise. Once in the city, we make our way up to Castello della San Giusto and the adjacent 14th Century cathedral, relax in the Piazza Unità d’Italia, explore the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, and enjoy the festivity of its own Grand Canal. Then its back to our hotel, the Grand Hotel Duchi D'Aosta, to get some sleep before tomorrow's embarkation day. Come on along with us!
