It's our second sea day and we are ready to take full advantage of the Thermal Spa aboard the Norwegian Prima. After a great day exploring Amsterdam, Netherlands, we are back on board and ready for our first experience with specialty dining. We are going to the Food Republic. NCL's Food Republic is a one-of-a-kind dining experience that offers a chance to taste your way around the world without ever leaving the ship! It is a collection of small plates from all over the world that are meant to be shared. The menu is divided into categories so you can customize your meal. The restaurants decor is impressive, with a sleek modern design. The space is filled with natural light and there are fantastic ocean views. Instead of a kitchen, the restaurant features a series of stations where each dish is made to order. Food is ordered in a unique way, touchscreen. On the touchscreen you can see the food and a description of ingredients. Be sure to space your ordering out or you will have a table full of plates before you know it and things might get cold. Food Republic is a must try on the Norwegian Prima. The food was great, the service was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our meal! After a great dinner, we enjoyed another evening at Syd Normans. The doors open 30 minutes before the show but we got there about an hour before the show because it was always sold out. The next day was a sea day and we spent this day at the Thermal Spa. If you love the spa and love being on vacation, how can you go wrong when you mix the two? The Mandara Spa & Salon was one of my favorite places on the ship. We did have a thermal spa pass so we were able to visit any time. This was especially nice on Sea Days because it was cold and the outdoor pools really were not an option. Also, they did not sell passes for sea days so the spa was never crowded. They provided snacks and drinks so we were able to spend several hours there just relaxing. This was an amazing trip! Even our sea days were such an experience! Thank you so much for watching! We really appreciate each and every person who watches or subscribes! We know that we are "Living the GOOD Life!" and we hope that you are too! Cheers!
