About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

Curacao has so much to offer, it can be overwhelming if it's your first time or you've only been once or twice. You likely are asking yourself, "How do I make the most of my day in Curacao?" Good news: We went non-stop for 13 hours, traveling all about the country, experiencing the sites, the tastes, and the history of the Curacao - and we've captured our thoughts and ideas for a great day (or couple days!) for you. If you've never been to Curacao - or only thought it was a drink in one of your favorite recipes - you'll fall in love on your visit. This spot in the Southern Caribbean is visited by few cruise ships (I've only been in port with another ship once across all of my visits). As a result, you have the ability to explore without large crowds and experience the port in a way that others just can't provide. The ship ports in the capital city of Willemstad, putting you closest to all of the action. Because we did so many excursions in our 13-hour day in Curacao, we just couldn't capture everything in one video (without it being super long). So, we've split our thoughts up into two parts: Part 1: We visit Hato Caves, Playa Piskado, Playa Kenepa Grandi, Williwood Terras for lunch where we give you an exclusive look at an original Curacao favorite, plus we cross the Queen Juliana bridge! Part 2: We visit a local grocery story, tour Chobolobo (the official maker of Curacao!), and take part in an exclusive rum tasting and tapas experience at one of Curacao's best spots. Trust us, you could make a day out of any one of these experiences! See for yourself why Curacao is one of our all-time favorite Caribbean ports. See one of your favorites? Or maybe something we should check out on our next visit? Let us know in the comments.
