ANTHEM OF THE SEAS CALLS INTO SOUTHAMPTON FROM BREST IN FRANCE 15/08/20

It was a very gloomy and overcast morning on the 15th August 2020 when the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship 'Anthem of The Seas' arrived into Southampton from her last port call of Brest in France. On the way to the City Cruise Terminal she passed the 'Norwegian Star' which is berthed at the QEII Cruise Terminal round about 05:15am and her planned arrival time was for 06:00am so she was slightly earlier than her booked arrival time. She was to be redeployed here in Southampton for a series of cruises therefore replacing the 'Independence of The Seas' which served Southampton very well during her time she spent cruising out of Southampton. However due to the current situation with all cruises being put on hold until such time they are allowed to resume the 'Anthem of The Seas' will not be on any cruise schedule for the time being.
