In October of 2022, we set out on a Southern Caribbean cruise on board Carnival Horizon. Our first port of call was in Aruba! Last time we visited Aruba, it was raining and cold so we didn't really do much exploring (outside of enjoying some pastechi). This time, the weather was great and we were in port for 11 hours, so we decided to book an excursion through Carnival: the North Coast Jeep Tour. We made stops at Ayo Rock Formation, the Natural Bridges of Aruba, The Chapel of our Lady of Alto Vista, California Lighthouse, and Arashi Beach. It was a jam-packed day and the excursion lasted approximately 6 hours exploring all over Aruba. It was an awesome experience and we later found out that if you are visiting the island, you can book a similar excursion by reaching out to ABC Tours directly. We highly recommend doing this tour if you enjoy being active and exploring places beyond just the port where the cruise ship docks. Our open-air Jeep driver, Mike, was so generous that he added a bonus stop at a local grocery store so we could purchase some local goods. That brought our experience to the next level.
