We went on a Austin river cruise (with Lone Store Riverboat) which toured the Ladybird Lake area of downtown. The river boat tour enabled us to take in numerous sites such as the Auditorium Shores, tall building such as the Austin Jenga Tower (The Independent Austin), Seaholm power plant, and the new Google building. We also traversed under various bridges including the South First Street bridge, Old MoPac Railway, Lamar Boulevard, James Pfluger Pedestrian & Bicycle Bridge and the South Congress bridge where bats come out at dusk. We had a terrific tour guide as you can tell. This was a very informative and fun one-hour tour- highly recommended if you are visiting Austin. Remember to bring your hat! #austin
